I hold a master’s degree in education from Oakland University. My social justice poems will appear in the anthology, Sixty-Four Best Poets of 2018 (Black Mountain Press). I was a contributor for Valley Living Magazine in 2018. I'm currently writing and directing a documentary concerning Detroit neighborhoods to premiere at film festivals in 2021. I am also working on a book about the razing of the Poletown neighborhood in Detroit with The History Press. In my free time I repair broken violins.
